Headline writers betray oil-bias - not balance

"Chinese subway crash renews doubts about infrastructure frenzy"

Yes, there is a problem in China with rapid growth. But how many lives have been saved by public transit investment?
Should there not instead be an article titled this way?

"China public transit saves many lives."
or
"U.S. car-culture kills and maims everyday, but gets precious little questioning."
